Fundraising

Volunteers

Every year Child needs to raise over £15,000 to fund our work with children and volunteers. Without this we would no longer be able to function. We organise fundraising events and receive sponsorship from companies and other organisations.

Our aim is to expand the charity and further improve the quality of the holidays we provide. To do this we need to raise as much money as possible this year. The Council of Management of Child is always interested in hearing from anyone who can help us with fundraising or donating equipment.

You can also now make a donation to Child via PayPal on this site.  Please click any of the "Make a Donation" buttons on the site.  Please consider making a donation of at least £1+.

Can you help?

Please contact Child at fundraising@childni.org.uk if you can help in any way.

Our Fundraising Committee has been extremely busy over the last months. Several quiz nights in the Eglantine Bar have taken place: Chris Tarrant better watch out! Seamus Scullion will be the next host of 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' if he's not careful!

In an effort to raise more vital funds we took to the streets! Here are some of our volunteers who gave up their time to collect money. Well done and thank you to everyone who did so.

Social Events

Volunteers

Our biggest event of late, was the Child Formal, which took place in the Europa Hotel. Everyone made a great effort and scrubbed up well, with the ladies looking gorgeous in their best frocks and the men not looking too bad either in their tuxedoes!

The lavish event was full of craic and with the drink flowing! Guests were greeted by a harp player, treated to a delicious meal, boogied to great music and some lucky winners received top class prizes, including a day at the Culloden Hotel Spa. It was an extremely successful night and well done to all the organisers.
